[Middletown, CT] – June 2025 – Electrical Wholesalers (EW) is proud to announce the promotion of Clint DeGroat to District Sales Manager. With a diverse background spanning multiple industries and nearly a decade of leadership within EW, Clint brings a wealth of experience, a proven track record of success, and an unwavering commitment to both his team and customers.
Clint’s career path has been anything but traditional. He began his professional journey in New York City in 1993 as a showroom liaison in the garment industry, eventually rising to the role of National Sales Manager for a leading garment manufacturer. While working in sales, he also pursued his passion for construction by founding DeGroat Builders LLC in Vermont, where he built vacation homes in the Mount Snow region.
From there, Clint transitioned into the automotive industry, holding several key leadership roles including Department Manager, Sales Manager, and ultimately General Sales Manager for a high-volume, full-service dealership. These positions sharpened his leadership skills, operational expertise, and ability to build high-performing teams.
In 2017, Clint’s career took a new direction when he interviewed with Mark Osak and joined Electrical Wholesalers in New Haven as the Branch Manager. “The opportunity challenged my two decades of management experience in the best possible way,” Clint reflects. “It allowed me to apply my hands-on leadership style to motivate a new team to reach their full potential.”
Over the past eight years, Clint has played an instrumental role in the growth and success of the New Haven and Fairfield branches. He credits his accomplishments to the strength of USESI’s mission and the dedication of employees who have embraced shared processes and goals.

As District Sales Manager, Clint is eager to embrace new challenges, collaborate with new teammates, and continue delivering exceptional service to customers.
