After graduating from the ALPS training program in December 2023, Nick was promoted to Assistant Branch Manager of Torrington, where he has since played a vital role in the team. He now steps into the Branch Manager position, bringing with him a wealth of experience and leadership expertise.
Nick’s professional journey is marked by a diverse background that includes a decade of experience in the A/V, network, and control integration industry, where he served as a Designer and later as a Senior Consultant. During this time, he was responsible for inside and outside sales, team training, and the development of sales strategies across multiple locations. Nick also holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration, which has further solidified his expertise in managing and developing business operations.
In reflecting on his career path, Nick shared, “My previous roles have allowed me to develop the skills necessary to communicate effectively, manage time and resources, and build lasting relationships. These experiences have prepared me to lead the Torrington team with a focus on open and honest communication, empathy, integrity, and leading by example.”
Nick is enthusiastic about the strengths of the current Torrington team, noting, “We have two team members with over 20 years of experience each in the industry. Their extensive knowledge is invaluable, not only for our clients but also in mentoring our younger, newer hires.”
Outside of his professional responsibilities, Nick enjoys a variety of hobbies, including exercise, traveling, reading, and gardening. He also enjoys relaxing with a good movie or playing games with friends.
